Welcome to the new term and hopefully some warmer weather!
As you are aware, we have had to cancel several sessions recently due to the weather conditions. We intend to more than make up for this in the coming term!
The new term has begun and we will be running all the way through until the 20th July.
London Youth Games Cycling Team we have been asked to help build and train this years Royal Borough of Greenwich team. The games take place on Saturday 6th July at Crystal Palace and for the cycling team, consists of an individual time trial for each rider, and a 6 lap race for 1 boy and 1 girl. Total of 10 team members. (8 and 2 reserves)
The rules for entry are simple: you must live or go to school in the Royal Borough of Greenwich.
We will be training anyone interested in taking part in the team and nearer the time, we will be holding extra sessions and trials to pick the final team.
Junior Team @ LEC will run from 11.00am until 12.30pm on Saturdays, as a continuation for the stronger riders. The session will be based on building fitness and stamina, with a mixture of on and off bike circuit training, endurance laps, hill climbing and road rides. Initially, we will be inviting riders to join this group.
